Hi friends, as I watch TV this evening I have decided I really want to rearrange the room in which I am sitting to minimize the TV prominence. Which led me to the topic of ENTERTAINMENT REDEFINED.
Flat screen TVs and components can look fantastic if you design around them. Start with the basics, a beautiful TV console that can stand alone while hiding components, then bring in wall interest. Surround your TV and let’s call it a gallery look. Bring in shelving, wall art, metal sculptural pieces to complete you gallery wall. Another interesting look I love now in the living room/ library room is the conversation grouping. It is comprised of four chairs surrounding an ottoman and placed away from the wall toward the center of the room. I think this four chair layout is so cozy and refreshing because you don’t see it often in the home. It begs to be used by family and friends for conversation and reading. Enjoying face to face interaction is a bonus with this room layout. Right now we have a fabulous chair program going on with a participating vendor. Get this look, with the chairs and a new wall grouping and redefine your entertainment area.
